How much does lawn mowing cost in the Hutt Valley?
It depends on the size of the lawn, how much edging and weedeating there is, the slope and access, and how often we come. We price per lawn rather than per hour, agree the price before we start, and quotes are free. Straightforward lawns can usually be priced over the phone; larger or overgrown sections may need a quick visit.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole Hutt Valley: Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Petone, Wainuiomata, Eastbourne and the eastern bays, Stokes Valley and the western hills (Maungaraki, Normandale, Belmont, Kelson and Korokoro). If you are anywhere from Wainuiomata to Te Marua, we come to you.
How often should I have my lawn mown?
Most Hutt Valley lawns do best on a fortnightly cut from spring to autumn and every three to four weeks over winter. Fast-growing lawns — Wainuiomata in particular — can need weekly visits in October and November. You choose the schedule, change it whenever you like, and there is no contract.
Do you take the clippings and green waste away?
Yes. Grass clippings, hedge trimmings, prunings and weeds are all taken away on every visit, and we blow off paths, decks and driveways before we leave.
Do I need to be home when you come?
No. As long as we can reach the lawn — an unlocked gate, or a key or code you have arranged with us — we do the job while you are out and close everything behind us. We can text you when it is done.
Are you insured and GST registered?
